Jobs: search, status, notes and map
Find a job fast, track its status, add notes and see it on the map.
Updated
A job in JobCam is a street address plus the photos taken there. The address is the job's identity: it is what photos match against, so keep it accurate.
Find a job
Use the search box at the top of the Jobs tab. The web dashboard has the same search at the top of its Jobs page.
Job status
Every job has one status:
- Active — work is happening. New photos file here as usual.
- On hold — paused. Photos still match, so nothing is lost if a crew member returns.
- Completed — the work is done. Useful for reports and marketing posts.
- Archived — out of the way in lists, but kept for records.
Change the status from the job's detail screen. Status is a label for your team; it does not delete anything.
Notes
Each job has a notes field for gate codes, contact names, scope reminders or anything the crew should know before arriving. Notes are visible to everyone in the company.
Map pin
Each job shows a pin at its address. The pin is what the GPS radius match uses when the address itself does not resolve, so if a pin looks wrong, an admin should rename the job with a corrected address.
Photos inside a job
Tap a photo to see its category and caption. From a job you can also:
- Start a PDF report.
- Create a share link (web dashboard).
- Post to Facebook or Instagram through the Marketing center (web dashboard).
Admin actions
Only admins can rename, merge or delete jobs. Those actions are covered in Renaming, merging and deleting jobs.
