Connect Instagram

JobCam can publish photos to Instagram. Instagram's rules for third-party publishing are stricter than Facebook's, so check the requirements first.

Requirements

• An Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal accounts cannot be connected.
• That account must be linked to a Facebook Page you manage. Instagram publishing works through the Page.
• Instagram publishing is included on the Business plan and above.

Connect

1. Connect Facebook first

   If you have not already, connect your Facebook Page. Instagram is linked through it.

2. Open Integrations and choose Connect next to Instagram

   Sign in at app.jobcamapp.com and go to Integrations. JobCam takes you to Facebook to approve Instagram permissions for the linked account.

3. Confirm the account

   The Instagram card shows the connected account name. You can now add Instagram as a channel in the composer.

Common problems

• No Instagram account is offered. The Instagram account is not linked to the Facebook Page you connected, or it is still a personal account. Fix that in Instagram, then try again.
• Posts fail after working for weeks. Access expired. Open Integrations, disconnect Instagram and connect it again.
• Instagram cannot be selected in the composer. Your plan does not include Instagram publishing. Ask your JobCam contact. See Billing during the demo.

Disconnecting

Choose Disconnect on the Instagram card. JobCam deletes the Instagram data it holds for your company when you disconnect. Published posts stay on Instagram.

Slack, Jira and Asana integrations are on the way. They appear in Integrations as "Coming soon" until they are ready.
