Terms of Service
The agreement between you, your company and JobCam for using the app and web dashboard.
Last updated
These terms govern use of the JobCam mobile apps (iPhone and Android), the web dashboard at app.jobcamapp.com and the website jobcamapp.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, joining a company with an invite code, or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. Accounts and companies
A JobCam account belongs to an individual. A company is created by its first admin and holds the company's jobs, photos, team, integrations and billing. Admins are responsible for who they invite and for the roles they assign. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly at hello@jobcamapp.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
2. Your content
Photos, captions, job details and anything else you add to the Service are your company's content. You keep ownership. You grant JobCam a licence to store, process, display and transmit that content as needed to provide the Service to you and your company, including creating thumbnails, PDF reports, share links and social media posts you request.
You are responsible for having the right to capture and use the content you add, including permission to photograph private property and people where required, and for what you choose to publish through share links or connected social accounts.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to store or publish unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, to harass anyone, to attempt to access other companies' data, to interfere with the Service, or to resell it without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
4. Plans and billing
During the beta, JobCam sets up each company and its plan. Fees and plan limits are those agreed with JobCam in writing and shown in the dashboard and may change with notice before your next renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If payment fails, paid features may stop after a short grace period.
5. Third-party services
Connecting a Facebook Page or Instagram account is optional and subject to Meta's terms. JobCam publishes only the posts you compose or schedule. We are not responsible for changes Meta or other providers make to their platforms.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Photos are saved on your device before upload; you are responsible for keeping your device backed up and for not signing out while uploads are pending.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Photos remain with your company. A company's admin may cancel the subscription from Billing. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms. On termination of a company account, its data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. JobCam is a record-keeping tool; it is not a substitute for your own inspections, contracts or legal compliance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobCam's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees your company paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State to be specified by counsel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
11. Changes to these terms
We will post updated terms here and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
