Account and data
Delete your data
How to remove your account, disconnect Facebook and Instagram, and request full deletion.
Updated
You can remove what JobCam holds about you in three ways, depending on what you want gone. All three are available now; none requires a phone call.
1. Disconnect an integration
If you only want to stop JobCam's access to your Facebook Page or Instagram account:
Sign in at app.jobcamapp.com
You must be an admin.
Open Integrations
Find the Facebook or Instagram card.
Choose Disconnect
JobCam deletes the data it received from Meta for that connection: account identity, tokens and cached Page or account details. Posts already published stay on Facebook or Instagram.
You can also remove JobCam from the Business integrations or Apps and websites settings in your Facebook account. Doing so has the same effect on JobCam's access.
2. Delete your account
This removes your personal profile and sign-in. Photos you took stay with your company, because they are part of the company's job record.
Hand off admin if you are the last one
Promote someone else to Admin from the Team page first. A company must keep at least one admin.
Open Account and choose Delete account
In the iPhone or Android app, or in the dashboard.
Confirm
Your account is deleted and you are signed out everywhere.
3. Request deletion of company data
To delete a whole company, including all jobs and photos, or to make a data request about anything else, email privacy@jobcamapp.com from the address on your account. Include the company name. We confirm the request with an admin of the company before deleting, and reply when it is done.
What is kept
- Photos remain with the company after an individual account is deleted.
- Billing records are kept as required for accounting and tax purposes.
- Backups roll off on a fixed schedule after deletion.
Full detail is in the Privacy Policy and the Data deletion page.
